9 tips that actually work to stop hair fall and get strong locks

Here are 9 crucial hair loss prevention strategies that have been tried and true.

1. Get a water filter

Installing a water filter in your shower is a good idea. Chlorine, heavy metals, and germs that cause hair loss and breakage are all removed.

2. Do not wash hair often

Washing your hair reduces hair loss by keeping your hair and scalp clean and reducing the risk of infections that cause hair loss. Washing your hair too frequently will rob it of its natural oils, so limit yourself to once a week at most. Use a dry shampoo alternative if your hair gets too greasy.

This is an excellent time to do a hair treatment if your hair is ready to be washed. Massage the therapy into your scalp with a serum, hair mask, or natural oils, and keep your hair in a bun for the full day before washing it.

3. Change the way you wash your hair

When washing your hair, try to avoid washing the ends and only the scalp. The ends will clean themselves after rinsing off the shampoo. As a result, your hair will not become tangled, and you will not need to brush it as frequently.

4. Do not brush your hair often

Brushing wet hair and wiping it dry with a towel are not recommended. Allow it to air dry or blow dry it to the point of moisture before allowing it to dry. Use a nice hairbrush because the manner you brush your hair can have a huge impact on how it looks. Choose a soft, natural-fiber brush and use it gently.

5. Do oil treatments regularly

Natural oils rich in acids and vitamins, such as argan, coconut, macadamia, and almond, can help make dry, frizzy, unruly hair softer, shinier, and more manageable. It also helps to prevent hair breakage and promotes hair development. Warm any natural oil to a comfortable temperature, but not too hot. Allow it to cool before gently massaging it into your scalp. Place a shower cap over your head and let it on for an hour before shampooing.

6. Eat high-protein food

Hair loss can be slowed by eating lean meats, fish, soy, and other proteins. Many protein-rich foods also contain vitamin B-12, which is beneficial to your hair.

7. Take hair supplements

Supplements might help you get more protein and iron if your diet is lacking. Biotin, Viviscal, and Omega-3 fish oil are all recommended supplements.

8. Stop using heat on your hair

Heat weakens hair proteins, so use hairdryers, straighteners, and curl irons sparingly. Constant heating and drying can cause hair to become brittle and fragile, which can lead to hair loss. It should be dried naturally rather than with heat.

9. Stop coloring your hair

Coloring your hair, particularly bleaching it, makes it more difficult to keep hair from falling out. Bleaching, due to its chemicals, eliminates the natural pigment. You are altering the structure of your hair and making it more sensitive to injury by doing so.
